Anisette Black Chara Preview

Okay all-- i'm being a masochist here- i've started a new maya project, and i'm not even doing it for a class!!!

but anyways. this is a quick picture of what the head of one of my characters is supposed to look like. There will be two of them: Anisette Black and Tashi Misoku.

the modelling obviously isn't done, and i would ask for help, but i don't think that would work unless someone was here to help me...

okay, so a little bit of a background as to why i'm making this, and about Anisette and Tashi:

I want to make a music video (possibly for Otakon or some other convention) within the next year or so. I have a specific song and anime picked out, but i need to get all of that stuff together first. there will be scenes of my characters interjected within the music video. i'm basically trying to stylize it like an MTV type of music vid, so that way it'll look relatively intersting. (hopefully no one will mistake it for a video mod!)

and now about Anisette:

Anie is around the age of 20, give or take (i don't have that set quite yet). She's the leader/guitarist/sometimes vocalist for a made up band of mine called EXtrinsic. It's a gothic/lolita band consisting of her and her friend Tashi. yes, there are only two members- like the white stripes i suppose.

Anie is also currently an item with Tashi (Tashi si a guy). She also has two sisters - one is Laytia (pronounced Lay-sha) and the other is Sairin (pronounced Sigh- reen).

and now about Tashi:

Tashi is the lead vocalist/drummer of the band. He's about the same age as Anisette. His voice sounds somewhat like if you crossed the 2-D from the gorillaz with a dash of Paul Rodgers....odd, yes i know, but that's just how he sounds. (although, for the music vid, he'll sound like the lead singer of Coldplay*if you get my drift ^_&*)

Tashi is your typical weirdo/psychotic/eccentric rocker in that he gets really into the music he's performing. he's been described as having multiple personalities that surface depending on what he's doing on the stage. In fact, he named some of them- when he's singing his name is Tashi, when he's drumming his name is Eponine. when he's playing the keyboard or violin (which rarely happens) his name is Oba.

so yeah, i'll be working on both models of the characters, a guitar, and hopefully *fingers crossed in hope* a drumset. then will come the fun part of animating them and putting them to a music vid! lol.
